StolWif green woodworking is based in Belper, Derbyshire. I make wooden products, demonstrate at events & teach green woodwork. I make stools, chairs and household items from unseasoned, ‘green’ wood, using hand tools and the leg powered pole lathe. This heritage craft is known as bodging. I try to source all my wood from known sustainable sources, and as locally as possible.
